Federal Candidates
Federal offices represent the people of North Carolina and Western North Carolina in Washington, D.C. Every registered voter in Buncombe County will vote for the U.S. Senate race and the U.S. House District 11 race. North Carolina's 11th Congressional District includes Buncombe County and 15 other counties across Western North Carolina, giving our region a voice in Congress.
State Legislative Candidates
Members of the North Carolina General Assembly write the laws that affect our state, including taxes, education, transportation, public safety, and the state budget. Your ballot will include the State Senate and State House district that corresponds to where you live in Buncombe County.
Judicial Candidates
North Carolina voters elect many of the judges who serve on our state's courts. These judges interpret the law and hear cases ranging from constitutional issues to criminal and civil matters. Every voter in Buncombe County will have statewide judicial races on their ballot.
