About The Event

This video is a concise introduction to the U.S. immigration system. It is co-presented by Theresa Cardinal Brown, senior advisor at the Bipartisan Policy Center, and Jim Robb, vice-president of NumbersUSA; prominent immigration think tanks who hold differing views on policies but share a commitment to

factual clarity.

The presentation is part of Braver Angels' broader initiative to find common ground on

immigration through grassroots events, policy discussions, and collaboration with national leaders. A facilitated discussion will follow the video.

Braver Angels is leading the nation’s largest cross-partisan, civic movement to bridge the nation’s political divide. By bringing “reds”,

“blues”, and “others” together to speak freely and without fear – and to disagree respectfully - BA’s objective is “not to change peoples’ minds about issues but to change peoples’ minds about each other".
