RESOLUTION FROM THE BUNCOMBE COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY
A Resolution for the Formal and Complete Disqualification of Victor "Vic" Lamar Morman from Party Endorsement, Recognition, and the Utilization of Any and All Party Resources.

WHEREAS, the North Carolina Republican Party Plan of Organization stipulate
"In the event a candidate for public office was not a registered Republican as of January 31st of the vear prior to the election in which that candidate seeks election, the Executive Committee of the Jurisdiction may disqualify such candidate from recognition, endorsement, and the utilization of Party resources."

WHEREAS, pursuant to the North Carolina Republican Party Plan of Organization any candidate seeking election in the 2026 Primary or General Election is required to have been a registered Republican on or before January 31, 2025.

WHEREAS, Victor "Vic" Lamar Morman was not a registered Republican on or before January 31st, 2025.
​
WHEREAS, Victor "Vic" Lamar Morman, according to North Carolina State Board of Elections records, officially changed their Party Affiliation from Democrat to Republican on September 22nd
​
WHEREAS, Victor "Vic" Lamar Morman, has had no official interaction with the Buncombe County Republican Party in the form of correspondence, conversation, attendance at official party meetings, or candidate committee interaction.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Buncombe County Republican Party hereby fully and formally DISQUALIFIES Victor "Vic" Lamar Morman from RECOGNITION, ENDORSEMENT, and the UTILIZATION OF PARTY RESOURCES.
As formally presented, reviewed, and adopted by the Buncombe County Republican Party Executive Committee on this 9th day of February, 2026.
